Aravani Art Project

Aravani Art Project is a collective of women and trans women artists working in Bangalore, India. They create art in an effort to raise awareness of and foster friendships between trans women and women in public spaces. Sexuality and choice are important factors in how they work together and create large mural works collaboratively.

Kickstarter: $3,000 to get the Aravani Project to PDX by February 2023!

The Aravani Art Project aims to advocate the idea of reclaiming spaces in this world by creating different art projects to raise awareness and to create a voice for the community. They are finding magical ways to engage with the people from the Transgender community and other LGBQIA+ people to come out in the public spaces and feel confident, safe and belonged. We would love for them to bring a beautiful safe space here in Portland. Learn more and contribute: HERE
