Kaoru Shibuta's work is based on the research of music and natural sounds which are then translated into explorations of the theory of synesthesia, or "joined perception." This experience happens when one sense triggers another, such as seeing a shape when you taste something. He is deeply inspired by Jazz and Classical music.
